Gavin whistled for the first time yesterday.We were on the computer with Shannon and he whistled and his eyes got huge and he said, "Mommy I whistled!" He was so excited!
He is also riding his Strider bike (a bike with no pedals) which he's ridden really well for ages but now he's finally gotten the hang of coasting with his feet up on the actual bars where they are supposed to go, instead of lifted straight out in front of him.
God Makes Things
I've been telling Gavin a lot lately about things God has created. We walked by a chirping cricket and I said, "Do you hear that cricket chirping, God made him." After we got home, Gavin walked past our car and said, "Did God make the car?" I laughed and replied, "No but God made the people that made the car."
Ladybugs
Gavin and I checked out a book on ladybugs because they are the one bug he doesn't mind. I learned more about ladybugs then I ever knew. Did you know ladybugs actually go through metamorphosis like butterfly's? They start as an egg, then larva, then a caterpillar, then a pupa, then a ladybug! And they hibernate in the winter!
