Gavin is practicing being ring bearer for a family wedding. He approaches Father and says, "Why did Jesus die?" Father thinking he couldn't have asked what he just did, asks him to repeat. Gavin asks again, "Why did Jesus die?" Father replies, "Because he loves us." Gavin asks his crown question, "Why?" Father says, "He just does." I think he was a bit dumbfounded a four year is grasping such a difficult subject. Gavin helps Father out and states, "It's ok. He comes back to life!"
