I took a bath one night and forgot my robe. I had to run naked through our small apartment living room where Gavin was intently playing video games. He is no stranger to seeing me naked. The child know nothing of privacy. I reach the bedroom door and he says, "Oh my eyes are burning." Concerned mom replies, "Why are your eyes burning?" Without hesitation or affection, "You," he says! I reply slightly offended, "Well, don't look then."
It was a sad day people. My kid finally noticed being his mom and being nude is not something he cares to see. I always wondered if it was a gradual thing or distinct moment. If there ever was one, this was it.
