Yesterday March 10, 2022, you were accepted into your dream High School, Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering.
We are over the moon proud of you and though you react in a way any snarky 14 year old would, with little enthusiasm, and the cockiness of, "duh, I had that in the bag," we celebrated with your favorite, sushi. You smiled a lot over dinner so I know you are just as excited as we are, even though you try to hide your joy.
This school is everything we had hoped of for you and the odds of getting in were what kept us on our toes in the sidelines waiting. Over 400 kids applied and only 70 or so were accepted.
Now you have so many opportunities at your fingertips and we look forward to seeing what you make of yourself and all of the benefits that come from being smart, hard-working, confident, and determined to reach your goals. You make us proud.
