In the car driving home for lunch grumpy, hungry, and tired Gavin tells us, "You're driving me nuts!" I wonder where he got that line.

All By Myself

Lately Gavin has started wiping his own behind, as well as pulling his pants up and down, and getting off the potty by himself. Each time we try to help he says, "No I do it by myself." Today Shannon and I were both talking and he came out of the bathroom trying to pull on his underwear saying, "I went pee pee all by myself." He had put his step stool up to the potty (the lid was already up) and he had pulled his pants down and went potty, standing up, without even announcing to us that he had to go. It's a big day ladies and gentlemen! A bittersweet moment as I realize, ah, one more thing I won't have to do anymore, but one more thing I won't get to do anymore.
