Today at the farmer's market, Gavin got to talk to Santa. Well, I don't think it was really Santa, but it sure looked like him and he makes honey, not toys. Anyways, we said goodbye to Santa and walked over to a booth selling sponges. The lady asked me if Gavin had seen and talked to "S A N T A." She said this spelling out the word Santa. Immediately following her saying this, before I said anything at all, Gavin looked at her and said, "I saw Santa." We were both a little astounded that he can either spell Santa or it was a huge coincidence. Either way it was pretty cool!
To try it out a little later, I told Shannon the story spelling the word again, and Gavin said, "Daddy I saw Santa today." Hmm I think the kid can spell Santa!
Good Job
This Saturday morning, bright and early, we hear Gavin: Daddy, I want to go downstairs.
Shannon: Did you go pee?
Gavin: Yes
Shannon: Did you pee the bed?
Gavin: No. I did a good job!
Yes, yes you did!
Time Is Money
Gavin is playing on the floor today and I hear him say, "time is money" over and over. I asked him if that was what he was saying and he said, "yes." When I asked him where he heard that, he said, "I don't know."Ahh so it was from a book about money that I read to him weeks ago. Man, his memory!
