Gavin started doing some new things while at home visiting family for the holiday:
He started asking, "what?" often, as if he can't hear.
He started calling Shannon and I "little fella" or "little buddy," while patting our heads and telling us to "settle down."
He counted backwards from 10 perfectly and all by himself while playing with trains.
He now laughs with his eyes shut and his face pointed towards the sky. A little airy laugh, that sounds almost fake.
While I opened a gift which was an octagon shape, he replies, "That's a hexagon because it has six sides." We were all pretty impressed he recognized a similar shape and stated the correct amount of sides.
He sings Jingle Bells in a deep voice and changes the words "oh what fun it is to ride" to "so much fun to ride."
He makes fists and shows his muscles while saying, "welcome to the gun show."
Each week he says at least five new words I didn't know he knew.
He acts more and more like me everyday which is frightening. He knows just what to do to make me angry. But he can also be so entertaining and so sweet that I can't resist smothering him with hugs and kisses.
