Gavin always wakes us in the morning with a rough snuggle of rolling around on top of us and trying to push us out of bed. He's quite the morning person. So over the years he's heard me say, "Boobs, watch the boobs", or "ow boobs." They find a way to always get stream rolled in this process of wrestling us awake. This morning I rolled over onto him to squash him for a change and he yells, "BOOBS!" Laughing we said, "You don't have boobs!" He says, "Yes I do, little ones." Despite being forced out of bed by a four year old, waking with a laugh is a good start to the day!
Moving Champ! - Feb 29 2012
Three houses in four years of life. This frequent mover is quite a
trooper! He is right at home in his new place. He does hate the rain and
thunderstorms we've been having as he's terrified they will all turn
into monstrous tornadoes. He was a little creep-ed out by the shadows
from the high windows on his cathedral ceiling bedroom walls but he
stays in his room most nights so that's a good sign. He won't go out in
the back yard by himself yet, but he's getting there. He likes to stay
close for now, I will often be scared out of my wits as my little "Child
of the Corn" is standing statue still behind me while I vacuum. I hope
he continues to be okay with these moves even after we start school.
