Proposal

Yesterday I watched our new friends Hannah Grace (age 3) and Haley (age 1).

Gavin looked at Hannah Grace and asked her to marry him. Hannah Grace looked at me and with her fingers laced together and big eyes in surprise and joy looked up at me and said, "He asked me to marry him!" Then she told him to be the pirate and she would be the princess and he could rescue her. She laid down on the floor and said, "Rescue me!" Gavin would reach down and lift her off the floor and Hannah Grace's baby sister would just cry and cry. She did not like this boy messing with her big sister. They did this over and over and each time Gavin would touch Hannah Grace, Haley would cry. 

Gavin is so used to playing with boys and I'm so used to be around boys that this girl thing is taking some getting used to.  Age four and the girls are kissing my boy and now he proposes to a princess. I'm not sure what to think of this.
