Gavin-- as a preschooler you always get upset if your dad and I are having a discussion. There may be a raised voice here and there or an intense conversation. You ask, "Are you fighting?" or say, "Stop fighting." One lesson you may learn from this when you get older is that there is a right and a wrong way to fight. Sure we are all going to have a full out argument from time to time, but it's important to know that every person on this planet was blessed from God with being different; different thoughts, opinions, and choices. The most important choice is to follow God and be like Jesus; full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, be faithful, gentle and with self-control. I hope you find that your dad and I teach you that as a human, the choice to act this way isn't always easy, but we will always try and that's all we wish for you. I have come a long way personally since you were born and I will continue to work on it all my days.
