When Handsome Meets Beautiful

As I picked up Gavin from school today he tells me, "A girl just said to me, 'Can I sit by you? You're handsome.'"

His last years preschool teacher hears this and says, "You are handsome, but don't let it go to your head. Give the other boys a chance."

So later in the car on the drive home I quiz him; I said, "oh yeah and what did you say?"  He said, "I just laughed." Me again, "Well, did you sit by her?" He says, "I tried, but she was too beautiful."

And that ladies and gentlemen, is the fairy tale saga of a handsome and beautiful set of four and five year olds who meet in the carpool line at school. But her ever radiating aura of beauty has prevented them from being together for the moment. Stay tuned...
