Shannon always goes in and checks on Gavin before he comes to bed. One night after spirit week at school for homecoming, Shannon did his routine, unwinding Gavin from the covers and placing his head back on his pillow to a comfortable position. Gavin startles and while still asleep chants, "Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn University" and then lies back down to sleep. I'd say there has been some cheers going around the school.
Footnote: At 18, how about that, you are headed to Auburn. War Damn Eagle.
Cat Calls
Gavin tells me after school today that he said, "whoot-whoo" to a pretty
girl today at school. He says, she replied, "I can hear you, you
know." We asked him how old this pretty girl was and he said, "oh 15 or
16." Umm, simmer down little one.
