Keeping my kid involved in summertime during a social pandemic leaves much to be desired. So I found an old Children's Prompt Journal and pulled it out for some writing activities. I assigned 7 sentences to the journal questions: How many are in your family? Do you wish you had more brothers and sisters? Why?
Gavin's answer was a classic.
"I have 3 people in my family my Mom, Dad, and me! I don't really want a brother or sister cause I don't like sharing. But there is nothing stronger than family. A family is a fish that can't be caught by a rod and reel,
but by love. Family can't ever be defeated. They can get through every hardship their is because it is a family's bond that is the strongest.
