Happy Father's Day

Anyone know who Daniel Anthony is? Yeah me either, until I read a book with Gavin
that I highly recommend especially if you have boys called Stories for Boys Who Dare to be Different by Ben Brooks. The book contains 1 page stories of boys/men who made a difference in the world.

Daniel Anthony learned his daughter wasn't being taught math in school because she was a girl. So Daniel opened his own school where anyone could learn anything. He believed in hard work, kindness, and that all people were equal. His daughter Susan grew up to be one of the most important activists of the time, campaigning for women's rights and against slavery. She worked in her father's memory to improve the lives of many. That woman was Susan B Anthony.

Like Daniel my dad instilled in me my ability to work hard, stand up for what I believe is right and good, to never give up, and to not take shit from anyone. He is one of my many role models and I am grateful I chose him to be my dad in the macrocosm of this universe in this lifetime.

Happy Dad's day to all the men in my world, all the male readers, and all your male counterparts and role models. I wouldn't be where I am without the men in my life.
