Drivers License

This month, you took your drivers test. The first time, you failed to stop at a stop sign for 5 seconds. I don't remember that rule from my days of drivers testing, but I'm sure it was one. Dad watched from the parking lot, kid after kid, crying because they failed the test as well. Tough crowd.

Day 2, dad took you and you passed. Our little Cyber teen knew when we took the photo to cover up your personal information with your hand, so as not to let the bad guys on the inter-webs get your personal information.

Seems like it was not long ago, You were little and play-driving every vehicle that had a steering wheel. Making the sounds an engine would make. Now you will be driving a real vehicle. You've applied for jobs at Auto Zone and O'Reilly, 15 minutes from the house on Winchester Road for the summer and a little part of me is concerned, but most of me is proud that you aren't afraid. You has always been a brave kid. I listen to other parents with kids your age and none of them want to drive. They don't even try.  Even though you drive me nuts a lot of the time, I know I raised up a good one. I'm proud to be your mom.
