1. Place on repeat on your calendar every 2 weeks to wash and change your bedding.
2. Place on your calendar every 1 week to wash your towels (bath and kitchen)
3. Cook your favorite recipes on a rotation. Even better prep your meals on Sunday for quick healthy eats throughout the week.
4. Make a grocery list and only get what is on the list and never shop hungry. Keep things you use all the time handy in the pantry or refrigerator.
5. Clean your house once a week to include vacuuming then mopping, dusting, wiping down bathroom and shower
6. Mark your calendar to change house filters every few months. Clean air is important.
7. If you have indoor plants mark your calendar to water them at least 1x/wk. Plants help filter the air in your home. PS they need you to open the blinds for light!
8. Mark your calendar to pay your credit card every month before it's due.
9. Charge everything to your credit card to get the points and never use debit!
10. Mark your calendar to service your car every 6 month at the dealer.
11. Don't forget to change out the car insurance card in your glovebox when it's due and to make sure your tags are not expired.
12. Keep track of subscriptions and cancel any you don't use.
13. Use reusable water bottles, don't drink from plastic.
14. If you drink, call an uber.
15. If you throw a house party, remember, people don't respect your shit like you do. Most likely if they damage something you will pay for it, they won't. And if they get hurt or get drunk and busted while at your house, you are the liable party.
16. Getting a fake ID is a felony. Google it.
17. Be careful riding your bike. People don't pay attention. Wear your helmet.
18. Lock your car doors always and lock up your bike!
19. If you sleep with a girl, wear a condom. You don't know where she has been even if she tells you she's a virgin.
20. You are a good judge of character. If it feels wrong, listen to your gut and get the hell out of there.
21. Find an alarm that wakes you up and schedule your classes for later in the day so that you don't miss any.
22. Don't flunk out of college. It's a huge set back. Ask your dad. Work with your counselor to set the right amount of classes and don't take too many difficult ones at once.
23. Sleep is vital. Getting 7-9 hours is necessary for your brain cells. Don't ever give up sleep.
24. Continue to learn something new everyday. Especially about yourself. There is no deadline for becoming who you are. It's a daily work in progress.
