In the quiet car from the backseat I hear, "I love daddy."
"I love daddy too," I said.
A pause and then he says, "I love you too mommy."
And my heart fills as I reply, "I love you more."
Favorite Toys
Our friend, Kelli, bought Gavin a Matchbox crane truck for his birthday. Her son Max has one and Gavin fell so much in love with it the last time he was at their house that we had to pry it from his fingers when we left for me. So today he opens the gift and with a big inhale at seeing it, he hugs it and exclaims, "Oh I love it, it's my favorite Max's toy!"
Pledge of Allegiance - Feb 15, 2011
Gavin recited the entire Pledge of Allegiance today all by himself! Even the word "indivisible!" I've only been reciting it with him for 2 weeks! I thought it would take him much longer to memorize! I'm speechless!
Only 2 more days until his 3rd birthday!
