Babies are Cute

Last night, a couple of friends and Shannon and I shared a sitter and went to our ACSC Holiday Ball. We got all decked out and danced and stayed up way to late and drank too much. Gavin stayed back to hang with our friends little 2-year-old girl, Pippa. I told Gavin in prepping him for this evening with Pippa to pretend she was like the sister he always wanted. He replies, "I wanted a brother." 

 This morning waking up feeling terrible, I could hear Gavin playing in the living room with Pippa and making her laugh. I thought this might be what it would sound like if Gavin did have a little sibling. My head throbbed with their playing of a triangle and symbols from their noise box. Taking Gavin home later that morning, he said, "Mom that was fun. Turns out I do like babies. They're kinda cute!"
