Gavin is showing a real interest in learning how to play an instrument. We started by taking him to a music store to try out some things. He tried to play guitar on many occasions but found it difficult with small hands. So he wandered the store until he found an electric drum set. Much nicer for parents with soft pads and a plug for headsets to keep all the noise in his own little ears. He seemed to find a beat quickly and jam out. Unfortunately the sets are expensive and electronic so reading reviews, they can lead to many unworkable parts. At boy scouts, the boys were talking about instruments they play. Gavin replies, "I play the guitar, but mostly the drums." My little rock star in the making.
