Fishing, Fishing, and More Fishing

Gavin has been talking non-stop about fishing. He got into the shows on Netflix and now is convinced he will be a marine biologist. Almost all of his sentences start with, "When I become a fisherman...", "Did you know the salmon...?," and "We need to get -- lure."

He absolutely cannot wait to get back to Kansas this summer so his grandpa and Great Uncles can take him fishing.

In fact, there has been so much talk about fishing I had a dream in which I was watering my dad's greenhouse of plants and dad bursts through the door, "Let's go!"  I reply, "Where are we going?" Dad says, "We are going fishing. Let's go." To which I, still watering, respond, "Well, you have to warn me of these things. I can't just drop everything. I have to prepare lunches, get Gavin ready to go, and so on."

When I woke up, I told Shannon and Gavin about my dream and Shannon laughs. "What's so funny?" I ask.  He says, "Because you sound just like your dad."  Is this possibly premonition of what's to come?

Gavin follows the story line of talking about our dreams and says, "I had a dream too. In my dream I was a fisherman..."
(me: Here we go again...)
"and I was married and had 3 kids. 2 girls and a boy."
(me: Okay, now I'm listening...)
"and I had the boy, but I adopted the girls from the pound."
(me: The pound?? You mean the orphanage?)
"No, the pound. I went to buy a cat, and the girls were there, so I brought them home too. They didn't cost any money though."

OH MY!
