Today we packed up our things. The house that was home as we began our family. It's bittersweet. Many things I will miss, many I won't. Another chapter of our life comes to a close.
Gavin did remarkably well. He was bored, that's a given. But he seems to understand the fact that things are changing. He acknowledges that we are moving from this house to another, but like Shannon and I, it hasn't hit home yet that it's really happening. To him it's all an adventure, wonderful new places to explore, and that's the way I am seeing it too.
