Night Two: Big Boy Bed

Gavin had his first nap yesterday in the big boy bed. He tried a few things. I waited outside the door for a little bit. He comes sneaking out with a grin on his face like, "I escaped!" He saw me and told me he had to pee. So we did. I tucked him back in bed and a few minutes later from behind the door I hear, "I have to go poopie." So we did, with warning that this time he had to lay down. I tucked him in and he said, "good night mommy."

At bedtime, I tucked him in and said good night and the next thing we knew it was 7:00AM. Instead of him coming into our room, he hollers from his room, "I'm ready to get up."

I think our big boy bed was a success. At least for now!
