Gavin saw my pregnant friend Heather this weekend and I pointed out that she had a baby inside her belly. Later, Gavin had eaten dinner and his belly was full so I asked him what was in his belly and he said, "a baby." I hope this doesn't mean that everyone with a belly now will be rudely told that they must have a baby inside!
Not much later, he and I were lying on the floor together. He lifted my shirt and pointed and said, "mommy is there a baby in there?" I said, "no." He questions, "WHY?" My response, "Because I don't want a baby in there!"
