Gavin's first week of school they studied the letter A. All week long if he saw the letter A he would say, "Look mommy it's an A." He even came home singing a math song. Today we took a family walk to the airplane park. I love this park because it's full of shapes, letters, and numbers on the airplanes. Today I would point at the airplane and ask him, "what's it say?"(In this past year I would have to point out the numbers and letters and tell him what they were.) On this day he surprised me by telling me straight away, "it says 425." So we would go to another airplane and I would ask him and he replied the correct numbers. I was so excited. I started to point out letters and he new so many!
Despite the bad attitude he's had lately, this was a shining moment for me, when I realize he's learned other things from me beside that sometimes not so nice personality.
