Last night Gavin opened a gift from Mr. Brad (someone Shannon works with). Gavin is very fond of Mr. Brad because he's the grandparent type who always has candy or a treat of some sort. Gavin guessed it was something angry bird, but wasn't sure what. Sure enough inside were two stuffed angry birds (the red one and a pig). This makes for a perfect real life game setting. So Gavin gets his twigs, which are wooden building blocks and sticks from Fat Brain Toys. He sets up random "levels" he calls them and places the pig amongst each scene. He even has an egg nearby that the pig stole just like in the actual phone game. Then he walks away, aims, and throws the angry bird at it trying to knock down the blocks and the pig. Very creative and hours of fun! Thanks Mr. Brad! Now he's not asking me every five seconds to play games on my phone!
