In the car today Gavin asked to go see his Grandma's (plural) "right now." I told him we had to pray for good weather so we could leave when daddy gets off of work on Friday. He got quiet for a few seconds and said, "Ok I prayed for good weather. Let's go." I laughed a bit, "We have to wait for God to answer our prayers." He replies, "Turn off the radio mommy so I can hear God speak to my heart." I promptly turned it off in awe of the words he said. He was quiet a few moments, "Ok God said, the weather's good. We can go!" I love how simple such complex things are for kids. I strive daily to be more simple.
Needs a Playmate- Dec 28 2011
At Grandma Kay's the other day Gavin asked her, "Grandma, can Nedra have babies so I can have someone to play with?"
I'm sure Grandma wouldn't object, but babies don't just pop out your age and ready to play!
