Gavin you had so many great accomplishments this year in your growth. As it turns out I did too!
When forced to look back on the year and list my high's and low's at an awesome NYE Duck Dynasty themed party last night,I was intimidated. Immediately I thought of the negative, but listening to others list their positives of the year, it hit me! It was a great year for our family and there was only one true negative for me.
Years from now I hope that you will do the same, take the time to reflect on your year, each New Years Day and realize your many blessings. Maybe even jot them down to look at the next year to see how far you've come. So here goes:
HIGH's
1. Awesome CO friends to say goodbye to
2. Safe and easy move to AL seeing family and friends in between
3. Awesome landlords and neighborhood
4. Amazing Blackhawk support group and great new friends
5. A husband home ALL year!
6. Gavin learns to read, ride his bike, and swim
7. Family time in KS for a wedding
8. First time at Disney and Sea World
9. Beach time
10. Savannah girl trip
11. I learned to grow some of my own veggies and how to reduce my carbon foot print on the world
12. I accept my faults and work harder than ever to change and know I'm getting better everyday
13. Atlanta trip and Huntsville trip
14. Found a great church and bible study
15. Cruising the Caribbean
16. Snorkeling in Mexico
17. Many awesome dates with my hubby thanks to great friends
18. God's love, mercy, patience, and unending blessings in this life with His help I will continue to conquer my goals making 2013 even better!
LOW's
1. Fear that leads to negativity
That's it! And even that is a blessing in disguise making it a high because it forces me to work on being a better me!
Happy 2013!
