Gavin had his 6-month dental cleaning a few weeks ago. They found a small cavity on the upper molars that needed filling. I was a tad irritated, as his teeth get brushed and flossed better than most kids his age I know and his diet is awesome, because I'm his mom:) But whatever. After our last dental incident with the fillings, I was not interested in the least in doing this again. It took me and two nurses to hold him down. He was very upset he couldn't feel his lip. This time they told me he wouldn't have to have any of that done and that it would be very quick. I told him what it would be like and to be brave. He asked, "Mom, how old was I when I had a cavity last?" I said, "Three, I think." He replied quite simply, "Mom, I'm four now, I'm not gonna be scared."
Sure enough. He was in the back room maybe 10 min tops with the doctor and he was out with a smile on his face and a sticker and bouncy ball. Success!

Get a copy of the xrays. You'd see the cavity in there ;) I did that with Smokey's extractions!
Ah my fellow conspiracy theorist!
